Flashback Friday

When I started my health and wellness business I wanted to make extra money💵 to pay off debt💳. With nothing but student loans 📚looming over me it was preventing me from having a life of freedom with my family👨‍👩‍👧‍👦.

If you’ve been allowing your fears to hold you back from living the life you want and deserve, you will forever be stuck in the cycle 🌀 of working hard for someone else’s dreams, and being broke. Not just broke financially but mentally, emotionally and spiritually.🙍

The best investment you can make is in yourself.🙆 If you don’t try, you’ll never know.

My business isn’t about wraps. It’s about changing lives.🎭

Are you ready to live the life you’ve always imagined? 🙇🏻💭

A Day In The Life…Well, Kind Of

Aside from being thrown off by the hour change due to daylight savings, today was a pretty relaxed day. After waking in the middle of the night for a drink of water, then waking in the morning thinking it was later than it actualy was, I couldn’t get myself back to sleep. I got out of bed to get the little ones bathed, made cinnamon pancakes for the children, then finally had time to get myself together.

I usually start with hair, face then wardrobe, usually keeping is simple but put together. This time, I just wanted to be comfortable. I donned a pair of yoga pants, although I had no intentions of doing yoga (is that bad?) a long sleeved black t-shirt, and after I settled down on the sofa to watch football with my hubby, a little chill settled in somewhat, so I had my pink and white striped Martha’s Vineyard hoodie nearby to keep cozy.

I admit I didn’t feel my usual self. I’m always about positive presentation especially because I work with other people’s appearances on a regular basis. But what made me feel good was my hubby loving me just the way I was: comfortable and natural. He wanted me to take a break for once and although I find it challenging in my multi-tasking mind to not do anything productive, I did appreciate his care and concern, and even more, our time together as a family.

I laughed myself to tears watching my husband and middle son trying an XBox Dance Central demo. Then I got in on it myself and did better than them both, even without the practice tutorials they were trying! 😉 It was all in fun.

I look forward to more days when I take time to lounge, in moderation of course.

How do you spend your days off?
